Garnethill Community Garden

The Artists Using Resources in the Community (ARC) project which is based in the GSA have agreed a lease with Glasgow City Council for permission to use the plot of unused land on Garnethill Street. The aim is to create a community garden and project space which will provide Garnethill residents with a serene area to relax and connect more closely to nature and the local environment. It is intended that the space will eventually evolve in to a demonstration space for residents hosting regular workshops on composting, growing and food education!

DSC00060Meetings will be held fortnightly on the space, with the first taking place on Wednesday 16th July 6-7pm. For more information please contact:

See for yourself the Garnethill Street site on Google street view.
