On The Verge – Saturday 14th June

With the GSA Degree Show still going ahead the mood is definitely one of positivity, and it is even more important than ever to have a celebration in Garnethill.

The “On The Verge” event will be happening this Saturday 14th June from around 12noon to 4pm. There will be lots to see and do, including:

  • the big SWAP stall — swap something old for something new
  • free local vegetarian food
  • pedal powered smoothie
  • composting workshop
  • exhibiting local artists

Also there will be a big drawing activity on the day where we can visualise a sustainable Garnethill, so all thoughts and ideas will be welcome!

The weather was warm but not too sunny and the community event was a great success. They say one picture is worth a thousand words so here are a few images that tell their own tale of the day.
