Latest News on St.Aloysius’ Proposed Sports Complex


It would seem that St.Aloysius College have withdrawn their current plans for the proposed 4-storey sports complex and I am sure this will be a great relief to many residents and neighbours.

Here is the text of an email that has been issued by the City Council Planning Department:

Dear Sir/Madam

SITE:   Site Bounded By Hill Street/Renfrew Street/ Dalhousie Street Glasgow

PROPOSAL:       Erection of sports complex associated with St Aloysius College (hours of operation 0800 to 2100 Monday to Friday and 0900 to 1400 on Saturdays)

DECISION:       Withdrawn After Validation

If your comments were received within the statutory period, the contents of your letter/e-mail concerning the above proposal were considered in the determination of this application when the above decision was reached.

To obtain further information about this decision, a full copy of the decision notice can be viewed at<> or electronically at Development and Regeneration Services, 231 George Street, Glasgow G1 1RX.  The DRS office is open from 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am – 4.00pm Friday (excluding public holidays).
