Official Opening – GSA Reid Building 9th April 2014

On Wednesday 9 April, the Glasgow School of Art will be hosting an event to celebrate the official opening of the new Reid Building on Renfrew Street. As part of the celebrations there will be a brief firework display from the roof of the Bourdon Building at the junction of Renfrew Street and Scott Street at approximately 9.15pm.

We wanted to let you know so that, if you have pets, you can keep them inside in case they should be frightened by the noises. The display will only last for five minutes and is being organised by the same company who do the fireworks from the roof of the City Chambers when the Christmas Lights are switched on. It will be professionally managed, disruption will be kept to a minimum and all relevant bodies have been notified of the event.

If you have any queries please feel free to contact Kate Hollands, Events Manager at the GSA, on 0141 566 1446 or at k.hollands@gsa.ac.uk

Thank you,

Kate Hollands
